Phrae has long been the North's teak and wooden-furniture centre and sits on the transport corridor linking the upper North to the Central plain. The timber trade creates its own issues — permits, proof of source, and agency inspections — alongside the sale-contract, trade-debt, land, and inheritance work typical of a mid-sized province.

Timber and permit cases usually carry a criminal and an administrative dimension at the same time, and the two have to be separated from the start. We frame the case before acting, run the file from our Khon Kaen head office and Bangkok branch, and travel to appear at the Phrae Provincial Court as scheduled.
